DEKE COPENHAVER
Deke Copenhaver knows what it means to be a servant leader. As mayor of Augusta, Georgia, Deke set mercurial politics aside and brought common sense communication as well as leading by example back into the local political conversation to get things done in a spirit of cooperation. Through his collaborative leadership and focus on rallying people around a cause, he helped lay the foundation for the thriving city Augusta is today. Along the way, he restored trust in the process. Deke led the local team that laid the groundwork for changemaking and creating a culture of success.
Now serving as the Principal of Copenhaver Consulting, Deke remains committed to being a Change Maker while helping others realize their potential to impact their communities for the better. For his work, he’s been recognized on multiple occasions by Georgia Trend Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians. Deke currently authors a monthly column on leadership published by the Georgia Municipal Association. He’s earned a BA in Political Science from Augusta College and is a graduate of Leadership Georgia and the Mayors’ Institute on City Design.
A passionate athlete, Deke has completed five Ironman 70.3s and several half marathons. He and his wife, Malisa, reside in Augusta with their dogs Sarah Bet, Buddy, and Hoss.

STEP 1:
Go to the iTunes page for LEADERSHIP IS A TEAM SPORT podcast!

Click the “Listen on Apple Podcasts ” button (see example below).

Once Apple Podcasts is launched, you will see the LEADERSHIP IS A TEAM SPORT thread. Click the ‘SUBSCRIBE’ button (if you have not already subscribed). You’ll be asked to sign into your iTunes account. Then click on the Ratings & Reviews tab (see example below):

Click on ‘Write a Review’ button (you must be logged in to write a review).
STEP 5:
Rate the podcast by selecting between 1 to 5 stars, leave a review, and click ‘Submit’. That’s it!
Your review will go through an approval process and can be viewed within 48 hours (if approved).

NOTE: If you can’t find this app, swipe all the way left on your home screen until you’re on the Search/News page. Tap the search field at the top and type in “Podcasts.” Apple’s Podcasts app should show up in the search results below.

Tap the Podcasts app icon, and after it opens, tap the Search field at the top, or the little magnifying glass icon in the lower right corner:

Type the name of the show you want to rate Leadership is a Team Sport podcast into the search field, and press the Search button.

In the search results, click on our show!

Scroll down the page until you see Ratings & Reviews.
